xkcd comic about so-called 'humour'

[QUOTE=RickJay]
There’s something about putting comics on the Internet that makes people like them even when they’re remarkably lacking in funny.

I linked to the one in the OP because it said something that I wanted to express. Funny didn’t have much to do with it. Unless you’re just making a comment about webcomics in general, in which case my response is that funny is very subjective.

jackdavinci: Look up ‘deconstruction’ on Wikipedia. Tell me they don’t have the best con game going on campus.

Don’t know if saw today’s cartoon before posting but it bears a remarkable similiarity.

No, shit. I did that wrong. That’s what I get for trying to be cool.

Well, I liked the cartoon, mainly because I dislike people who aren’t as funny as they think they are.

Yes, I had. I took my comment almost directly from the alt text.

Halfbakery is another example. The whole idea of the site is that you come up with an idea and people vote on it anonymously; some people also post “+1” to let you know that they’re in favor.

For the record: +1.

If you were looking for humor, I’m pretty sure you’re missing the point. Do you dislike Rex Morgan, MD because it’s not funny? That said, humor-oriented webcomics seem to appeal to a pretty narrow slice of the population, which AFAIK includes almost no one over 25.

Oops: halfbakery.

Okay, maybe I’m alone on this, but I don’t understand the comic in the OP. Can someone explain?

Nevermind, I looked it up – yup, that’s a dumb riddle.
