I have a system with the SB Live and the Creative 5.1 speakers. I also have a Sony stereo with no line in but a connector for a cd changer that can be used as a line in. I am trying to record some audio onto tape, but can’t get a signal out other than the Digital DIN port. Any ideas?
Have you tried a direct connection from the audio out connection that your speakers currently are plugged into, into the cd changer connection?

No because my speakers are attached to a digial connector, It’s a SPIDIF port so it’s not physicaly possible to connect that port to the cd changer connection
Thank you for this idea, but I have already tried it. Perhapse a better phrasing of my OP would be
How do I get XP to use Line Out rather than the Digital Out
SBLive’s Mixer program has an option that allows you to active or deactivate certain line-in/out or channel-in/out settings. But sometimes, in order for one to be activated, another one (or more) must be deactivated. Load up the Mixer and see if you can manually activate the Line Out.
