Agree entirely. Europe should get her stupid act together. This weakness is a dishonor. Our wealth demands we play an active and responsible role in international politics and this include the means and will for military action, and it includes we stop running to US and whine at her skirts every time something needs done. It seems there’s an inverse relationship between Europe’s pitiful impotence and her international demands and increasingly shrill complaints

Yes they were. The Serb Europeans, the Bosnian Europeans and the Croat Europeans were threatened – and more than that. A pathetic disgrace that Europe put to the test failed so miserable.
American divisions did a pretty good job defending Europe from 1945 onward. They also weren’t entirely useless in helping to liberate Europe starting in 1943.
