Sing it, brother! (or sister) I, New York’s # 1 Royals fan, wore my Royals jersey (1993 vintage) in public for the first time in quite a while today…got some great comments out of it too.
I’m still trying to imagine what must be going through Buddy Bell’s mind at the moment. Probably something like “Today I’m the luckiest stiff on Earth. That’ll buy me a few more months before I turn bitter like Tony Pena did.”

The Royals beat the Texas Rangers last night! That makes it 4 wins in a row for the Royals! I’m not calling this a comeback or anything like that, but things are starting to get exciting around here!
Unkempt One – The Tigers just swept the Orioles, and the Royals swept the Yankees. And yet, one keeps hearing that the AL Central is the weakest division, and the Twins and WhiteSox are lucky to be able to “beat up” on those teams all season while the AL East play each other. Color me confused… it’s clear that the AL East can’t handle the AL Central.
