- just got out of a Prometric test center, grasping to my chest that wonderful Examination Score Report confirming that I have indeed passed the Cisco Certified Network Professional Foundation 3.0 Exam. Woohoo! This was the final requirement to achieve CCNP certicification.
Where lesser minds take this as 3 separate exams (Switching, Remote Access and Building Scalable Cisco Networks), I decided to cut through the red tape and apply my obviously superior intellect to all three at once. Plus it saved me $125 to do so.
OK, in full honesty: I was pretty damn sure I’d failed for a while. Some of these questions are really, seriously mean… So when I clicked “Next” after the 102nd and last question, I was all prepared to find out what the “Sorry, better luck next time” screen looks like.
But lo and behold, I’d passed all three subcategories with points to spare. Goes to show that if you don’t know what to do, inspired guessing can save the day. Now to update my resume and throw myself into the jobhunting fray with renewed energy.
Anyone in the market for the boxed set of Cisco’s CCNP preparation library ? It works! OK, so the cat barfed on one of the books, but I did wipe it down.
Hehe. I’m a happy hedgehog!
