Year Ago Today Bush Re-Elected: Happy Now Assholes?

You said: Year Ago Today Bush Re-Elected: Happy Now Assholes?

Yes. Otherwise, we’d have a proven traitor sitting in the Oval Office and we would more than likely have had more jets flying into office buildings.

I’m not totally happy with the job Bush has done. There are things that he desperately needs to get on with, like border/immigration control and tax reform. But given who might have been elected, he’s far and away the better choice.

Proven? By whom?

More jets into office builidngs? Iraqi jets?

The Free Republic web site hosted an exhaustive investigation of these despicable charges. Expert and impartial testimony was solicited, and the conclusion was inescapable: Kerry was guilty of multiple forms and instances of treason. It was further noted that an activist liberal judge might be inclinded to acquit, citing arcane legal minituae such as “proof” and “evidence”.

That these proceedings were entirely ignored by the liberal media was noted as further proof of the existence of the liberal media.

Thank the gods for that kind of vigilance! Otherwise, we’d be completely in the dark about such evil doings by that evil doer.

It was further noted that while righteous, upstanding Americans prefer bourbon like Makers Mark and I.W. Harper, Kerry openly and shamelessly prefers the evil Dewars.

Actually, those might be more usefully characterized as “responses” than “reactions.” To illustrate the distinction between the two, let’s review what I wrote:

Please note the nice light wheat-y color of the first “what a prick”. That was intended to represent me muttering about your prickishness under my breath. I hope it doesn’t hurt your feelings that I didn’t deem your prickishness to be significant enough to merit a stronger reaction.

The second “what a prick,” with it’s more intense emoticons, and elaborate coding, is intended to represent a more intense emotional reaction that I experienced, when confronted with what I saw as a more egregious degree of prickishness on your part.

It is no surprise that the prickishness that elicits the more intense reactions (internal emotions) is the only thing that elicits actual responses in the thread (public actions). If you insist on characterizing them as “reactions,” however, I can clarify in shorter words:

Regards.

Bourbon??? Hmmmm… sounds suspiciously French.

Any true patriot would drink Freedom Whiskey.

Wow, first he’s a musician in New Kids On The Block and The Funky Bunch, then an actor in great movies like ‘Boogie Nights’, and now he’s got a bourbon!

It’s not widely known, but I had a brief scene in that movie, sort of a “stunt double”. Modesty forbids further explanation.

Luis Guzmán’s stunt breasts, eh?

[Groundskeeper Willy]Only cheese eating surrender monkeys drink the French sounding stuff. Real men drink Scots whisky or nothing at all![/Willy]

I could not agree more. It is odd, that supporters of the part (rep) who claim that “liberals” think the people are not smart enough to make major decisions, also beleive that they (the repubs) should lie to those “stupid” people in order to get what they want done. Wow!! When Bush says they “hate our freedom” and our democracy, he is actually talking about his own supporters.

Why do you hate freedom, democracy and truth Mr. Hyde?

“As [the re-elected President] turned away to retire [for the night], [his supporters] set up a terrific din, chanting, “Four more years!” It was a top-drawer Republican crowd, well-barbered and expensively dressed. The television audience had no way of knowing that some of the most eminent chanters were felons.”
