"Year of Living Biblically" by A.J. Jacobs

A. J. Jacobs tried to live by all the rules of the Bible for a year, following the rules as literally as possible. What do you think of that? I think I want to read this book.

I’ve been thinking about it as well. His previous book, The Know It All, was both funny and informative. If you are unfamiliar with it, it documents his attempt to read the entire Encyclopedia Britannica.

However, I’m not so interested in the whole religion thing, so I’m kind of meh on it. I’ll probably read it at some point, though.

But becoming the ultimate fundamentalist? Doing everything the bible tells you, even the contradictory stuff? He’s making an awesome point, except the people who most need to hear it are the people who probably won’t.
