I’ve listened closely to the song, and even read the lyrics, but I have no idea what they mean by the phrase ‘It was all yellow’.

I was at a cold play concert recently, and they told us why the song was called yellow. Blimey, what did they say, or maybe they were too stoned and made it up? Well, they bought cocaine (what they thought was cocaine), and instead it turned out to be something else (can’t remember what it was). Anyway, they were duped, and they called the song yellow to remind them of this occassion.
