Yes! I just figured out how to end my second musical!

(This is maybe a CS thread, but only one of you has heard my second musical, so you wouldn’t be familiar with it.)

Call it divine inspiration, because I was at work doing something completely different when it all came to me. I starting writing this show five years ago, and the friend in question pointed out that in spite of a plot twist, the last 20 minutes didn’t really quite make sense in terms of the death of one of the two protagonists.

Anyway, I found a way to tie things up by linking two characters you didn’t know had a past together (another plot twist) and it all makes sense now. Yay me!

Now, whether or not I actually do any work on it in the near future is up in the air…

Just thought I’d share something pointless to the rest of you.

A helpful hint if you ever get stuck again:

Former “Saturday Night Live” performer Michael O’Donoghue once said that any story can be satisfactorily ended with “Suddenly, everyone was run over by a truck.”

LOL. Actually she was originally supposed to drive her car off a cliff or something, but that was stupid. Glad I found the sensible alternative.
