I was with an ISP once (c----rnet.com) whose filtering became so outrageous that I had to leave. I could not sent normal mail to friends and pictures would stop mail randomly. I said that if I had to use Gmail anyway, why did I need them? Their analyst said he had to use Gmail too to send his mail. That sealed the deal for me. I was gone. Their filter would stop any mail that used the word sex or gay in any context. They said they had to filter this tight to avoid being blacklisted from servers. I hope it puts them out of business.

Mr. Accident- scammer sometimes take their “names” from previous victims, so some scambaiters use silly names like Stepehen King. I believe I was once responsible for a mugu calling himself Charles Manson.
One really clever aspect of random text in spam, is that people foolishly post the text on MBs, so the spammers robots can look for it and now they now that the email address that that particular grouping of words was sent to is live (and therefore a more valuable email address to sell to other spammers).
Is this similar to the question I posed the other night and some helpful members said that the posters include legitimate tracts to get around spam filters?
