Yet another "help me identify this movie" thread

This should be a pretty easy one. Fairly recent movie-- within the last few years.

The part I remember is a guy (executive-type, maybe Wall Street or a banker or CEO) driving somewhere in a very expensive car at night on a nice quiet road, no other traffic, with a woman he is not supposed to be with. He falls asleep at the wheel (?) and there is a horrific crash, car explodes, he gets out, and woman is killed. The picture I have in my head is of him far away from the car watching it burn.

I believe the rest of (or a lot of) the movie is him covering up the accident or some other crime… yikes, this is what I get for watching endless reruns of L&O-- all crime stories run together in my head. (Obviously, I’ve been eating too much garlic and my brainwaves are desynchronized.)

I wanna say the guy is George Clooney, but I don’t think it’s him, just someone Clooney-esque. I think it was a pretty good movie. I think.

Garlic desynchronization. I had no idea.

Arbitrage with Richard Gere.

Yes, yes! Thanks! He is sort of Clooney-esque, what with the gray hair and all.

Sounds like Michael Clayton, which starred George Clooney

I know this is the wrong thread and I saw another thread about garlic (but I didn’t look at it). Anyways, I have no idea what you were trying to prove and I didn’t read the link, but I’m still going to suggest you find a different source.
A)the byline says “Reiki Empowerment Seminars”, so there’s that
B) Rense.com? Have you looked at their homepage. I’m not sure I would trust anything that came from that place.

ETA, just flipped through the other thread. I assume this was a joke cite…carry on.

Except I haven’t seen that one.
