Yet another reason that Bush is a moron

As a side bar to the Denver International Airport thing, take a look at this hilarious exchange between a conspiracy nut and the DIA Public Affairs Office.

In a weird way, it reminds me of some of the debates that go on around here.

Count me in. I have nothing to do with the Dems (or the Pubbies) and I think this Bush admin is incredibly inept and full of shady characters. Bush sounds like a moron everytime he opens his mouth.

I have a fancy degree from a top school, and it was clear it was very difficult to fail. If you should up for the exams an wrote something on topic, you would get a passing grade. If you studied for a few hours, you would get an average grade (B/B+). They seem to take the attitude that if you got in to the school, you’re good enough to deserve the diploma. Good grades are only needed by people who need an extra edge in getting employment after graduation. Someone like Bush only needed to show up and take his C’s.

From Business Week, in an article describing Bush’s experience and performance at Harvard:

“In 1973, ‘making the bar [at Harvard] was 98% meritocracy,’ says Michael Porter, now one of the B-school’s most well-known professors and an expert in international competitive strategy.”

Further, the article doesn’t give the impression that Bush was more than an average student. Frankly, using his Harvard MBA as a counter-argument for his intelligence is fairly meaningless to me. I don’t want an average legacy grad for the President of the free world. I want an intellectual powerhouse, at the very least, especially in this day and age. Is it too much to ask that our President NOT look like a moron???
