Cyber-stalking, to me, is distinguished by how it personalizes the contact. People can bump into one another frequently in this or that thread about this or that topic. When they discuss the topic, no one is stalking anyone. But when one engages the other consistently in a manner that amounts to nothing more than taunting, that’s stalking.

What about when one hardly ever engages the other?

Hardly. It’s just that when I encounter someone being an asshole on here, I tend to warn others. Such was the case with the last one who called me a stalker. We came to an agreement; I now ignore him when I think he’s being an asshole.

Oh, and I suppose it’s a coincidence that you started a thread about me and did a search to find out my posting habits, eh?

I did a search on you a long time ago, Sparky. I couldn’t very well determine what sort of poster you are without seeing your posts, could I? I note that in this very thread you made a statement as to what sort of poster I am. Do I need to add “hypocritical” to the sort of poster you are?

e.g.: when you make vague statements and expect those other people to read your mind instead of explaining yourself, then when those other people ask you to explain yourself you become evasive and make more vague statements.
