I’m a Catholic Paladin, but the head of my order just had me transferred from the temple in Athkatla for being a little too eager with my Lay on Hands ability.
Five or six 18 INTs already, huh? Gosh, that didn’t take long.
No, you don’t have an 18 INT, guys.
This is way more interesting an exercise if you force yourself into a maximum score. The average score with fair dice is 63, but to make it a bit easier to work with mathematically, as well as 3 extra points for ego, I’d argue for an allocation of 66 points. With 66 points I’d give myself:
Strength - 10
Dexterity - 9
Constitution - 12
Intelligence - 13
Wisdom - 10
Charisma - 12
Your extraordinary ordinariness has not gone un-noticed. You are hereby cordially invited to participate in a unique project to further the lot of all mankind.
What we propose is a standardized system of weights and measures, one the whole world may share and thereby bring economic intercourse to all corners of the Earth! We’ll simply need to take some measurements of your feet. We’ll take the average and divide the sum total into twelve equal parts which we shall call ‘inches’. These inches shall be the basis for the whole system, Babylonianly based on twelves!! You see how we believe you are eminently qualified for this role.
I would bump down Dex (I’m clumsy, not great at sports), Con (hardly get sick, but stamina is average), and Int (smart but no genius). My alignment scores were nearly equal for law/neutral and good/neutral but I think I’m more Neutral Good. Laws are helpful in ensuring fairness and equality. If the laws are unfair or unjust, they don’t need to be obeyed. I’ll split the difference and call me a mild Lawful Good.
I figured out the Str and Int scores based on the max weight I press / my last tested IQ score, the only one where I just thumbsucked was Dex, I have no real “feel” for that as a real-world stat. I can drive a car and balance on a balnce beam, but I don’t juggle or do magic tricks, so 12 looked about right.
