That guy was a dumbass. I’d like his ability to get a diamond cutting erection several times a day for no particular reason, and the testosterone level. Otherwise, he should be begging me for advice.
How about ‘Life Expectancy’?
When come back, bring ‘Life Expectancy’.
That is all.
I miss having good vision. The glasses help, but they have limits. And my eyes never fogged over going from an air conditioned space to a warmer, humid space. I’m grateful I managed to go 45 years without specs, but I wish my genetics allowed for better eyes.
Non-achy knees would be nice, too, but I can deal with them…
My uncorrected vision has been crap since is was young, so I don’t think I can wish for good vision. Fortunately, my corrected vision isn’t too bad. I just need more and more expensive glasses.
When I was 20 I had fewer allergies, so I’d like a roll-back on that, please.
Hmm, if it’s a case of my health being like this or worse for another sixty years I don’t know that I’d be so sold on that. Not that I’m in dreadful shape but I think I’ll be ready to knock off in another twenty-five to thirty years of steady decline.
My knees were as bad then (and before) as they are now, my hair was too thick then and it’s thinner to an extent but not enough to use this option, my eyesight then was terrible but it’s now 20/10 after laser surgery, I have fewer skin blemishes (although gravity is taking its toll), about the same strength and libido, metabolism would be normal now instead of too fast leading to a skinny body, the memory’s as bad as it ever was, so I choose the fitness I had when I was 20.
I could probably get somewhere near to that fitness if I started working out regularly, although recovering from injuries would take much longer. I don’t imagine I could spend 10 hours in a bike saddle or pool and be able to move for the following week.
Hearing would be nice. I’ve lost about 50% of it. Frustrates me, and those around me.
Hearing aids sort of work, but my tinnitus is so loud and always there…There is a little man blowing a whistle in my head 24/7.
Ditto. That’s why I chose “other”. :D:cool:
I’ve never been thin, and my hair is still in good shape. I went with skin since mine is looking rougher and spottier.
Joints - any, all. Rheumatoid arthritis has made certain they all ache in varying degrees.
I just turned 52. I’m in OK shape, my hair is not completely grey yet. My heart and joints are still functioning well, and though I wear prescription glasses now, I’m not blind as a bat without them. What I want back more than anything is my old metabolism. The one I had in my 20s. The one that I could lose the 2 lbs. gained on a day of abnormal calorie intake with ease. I would also like to be flat chested. I’m not large by large standards, but I would love to have no more boobs than I had when I was 13 years old.
I’d like my youthful stamina back. Not for any specific activity, but just to be able to do whatever it is I feel like doing for as long as I used to be able to, without feeling like i need to take a lie-down every five minutes.
My 22 year old body, right after finishing Navy Officer Candidate school.
I would like my 20 YO body back, but I went with joints. My knees pop now, and I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel last year, and I hate it.
This is a good one, and makes it a hard decision: back when I was in my teens, I didn’t have any issues with seasonal allergies, and nowadays mid-April through the end of May is total hell. On the other hand, I pulled a muscle in my back playing flag football a couple of weeks ago and it’s not better yet, which is the first time that sort of thing hasn’t fixed itself within a few days. And which is kind of frightening for the future of my athletic endeavors. So I’d probably go with the injury/recovery rollback.
I said “Other”, meaning my lumbar spine. I always had bad eyesight, and since my cataract surgery I can see better than I could when I was six. I still have most of my hair, although it’s turning gray. I can’t recover from exercise as well as I used to, but I would still like to be able to squat and power clean again.
I haven’t lost a lot of strength otherwise, nor has my libido changed all that much. I’m crowding sixty a little more closely than I like to think about.
Regards,
Shodan
I said other, meaning my overall physical conditioning. I was in fantastic shape. I ran 5 miles a day. I had been a gymnast, and retained my flexibility by regularly doing stretching routines. I was a lifeguard, and regularly swam a mile. I was a competitive equestrian, and rode horses regularly. I’d like that back please.
My young hearing back. Tinnitus sucks. I can still generally hear survivably fine, but have lost the little pleasurable things, like the flapping of birds, drip of raindrops, rustling trees, and intricate soft music (punk still sounds great though ;))
I think “youth” IS an attribute, and I want it back!
