Trump’s “trying” to help her out.
I’ll take one issue with the article where it says Boebert left her original district when it was “clear” she’d lose it. It was likely to be a close race, but it was far from clear that she’d lose it. I’m not defending Boebert here, she’s a coward who fled her district rather than fight a close race, and I suspect she’s regretting her decision, but it wasn’t clear she would have lost.
AFAIK she wasn’t arrested at that particular concert.
The author of this article triggered a pet peeve of mine ……a burglary or theft is not the same as a robbery.
If young Mr. Boebert had grabbed the sick woman’s last $75 from her hand or demanded it from her under threat of violence, that’s a robbery.
But if he stole it from her parked car, that’s not robbery, that’s burglary or theft.
A journalist should know better, but it’s clickbait.
Three takeaways:
-
I feel like the sex tape should be the most concerning charge on that list, but they don’t talk about it very much.
 -
According to that article, “Surveillance footage from Love’s shows Tyler wearing a gray hoodie with the phrase “Grit and Glory” on the front and “Shooters Grill” on the back, according to the affidavit. “Tyler’s mother, Lauren Boebert, used to be the owner of the Shooters Grill restaurant here in Rifle, Colorado, hence why the gray hoodie would read out ‘Shooters Grill’ on the back,” the affidavit says.” So not a master criminal.
 -
His dad partly blames the COVID shutdown for their son being a crook. Uh huh.

I mean, that’s not wrong. Instead of being in around upstanding students and teachers, he was stuck at home with his criminal parents.
He couldn’t find his normal hoodie which says “My name is Tyler Boebert” in neon block letters.
I’m wondering why this is just coming out now from something that happened in December.
Don’t forget larceny.
I agree with you, and I’m not an expert - but my impression is that such distinctions may not be applied as strictly as previously.
