So yesterday I go home and pick up my mail. There’s an unusual amount for some reason so I’m hoping there are no bills. In my pile is a magazine for the people who used to live here. I still sometimes get stuff for the two women who lived here even though they moved out in December. Since I was given no forwarding address or anything I have no idea of what to do with their stuff, none has been that important, usually Natural History or something like that.
Anyway I’m looking through my mail and there was a strange mag titled FTMi. So I look at the cover and wonder what it’s about. I open it up and see the name Female to Male International. I had to look again just to make sure I had read it right. Sure enough I did. So I start skimming through it just to see what’s in it. There are some interesting adverts such as the chest removal and peck implants along with others for doctors that specialize in FtM surgeries.
Then I start reading the articles. There were a couple that were interesting, one was about a couple who had gotten divorced and had children. I’m guessing, though I didn’t read the whole article, that the woman was changed into a man wanted custody of the children. All I really got out of it was that there was no law on what sex a person was, did it depend on how they were born or what they were now. The other one was about preventing suicide over the internet. They gave some tips on how to help out and if you should call the police etc. Over all they seemed to be at least somewhat well written, better then I could anyway.
Now I don’t know what to do with it. I have no idea if the women are expecting it, or if I should try and send it on or what. Baring that I guess it would make for a real interesting White Elephant gift.
