Correct!
Evil weevil! And a bad bug.
Hinky-pinky: A hoodlum flying late.
You got the first part right, but bad and bug don’t rhyme, even here in the south.
cop shop.
I got one I got one praise the holy heavens I got one!!
Hinky-Pinky: An officer of above average talent and/or physical stature.
Top Cop (ETA: Never mind, that’s only a Hink-Pink)
chunder blunder
Haven’t figured out the “buttsecks robber” yet. That should be the only one not solved at this point.
Pooter Looter
Hinkity Pinkity: Career in absolving sins
Nope, we still have
“Hinky Pinky: hoodlum flying late”
*Flying late *is a tough one. It’s got that old-school NYTimes-crossword-clue vagueness.
Nope, not that. To make it way too easy, it’s also the name of a movie.
Well, this is a long shot, but:
Bad Guy, Red Eye?
(I know it’s wrong but it’s all I can think of. Hey what do you want, I worked all weekend. :p)
Super Trooper.
Oh, and the only thing I could think of for late flight was “redeye” as well. But I couldn’t think of a word that rhymes with it. (And apparently it can be one word, one hyphenated word or two words depending on who’s writing it.)
Isn’t a redeye an early flight?
Closest I came was held-up holdup man, and that ain’t very close.
I can’t figure that one out either.
Hinky pinky: criminal crustacean.
Dispensation occupation?
Lobster mobster
Hink-pink. Odor where you get water.
Lobster Mobster (there was a Doper named lobstermobster). I now see this one has been solved, but I thought the board history tidbit might be of interest.
For “a hoodlum flying late”, I thought of “redeye deadeye”, although a deadeye may use his shooting expertise for good, evil, or neutral purposes.
Hinkey-pinkey: Unchanging garret.
Static attic?
Hinkity pinkity: A place where spotted dogs are grown.
dalmatian nation!
What about this for a hinkey pinkey: A late banquet.
Dalmatian plantation (“nation” doesn’t have enough syllables, plus “grown” suggests something specifically related to crops).
Well smell.
Mine have all been correctly guessed so far, so I’ll add:
Hinkey-pinkey: Glass gun
