When my contemporaries became grandparents, it kinda hit me. In fact, when she was my age, my grandmother had 3 grandkids and 2 on the way - I have a 15 y/o daughter.
Then there was yesterday - I forgot my glasses and I spent the day at work squinting and increasing the font size on my monitor.
And I won’t say anything about what aches… <sigh>
…you see your high school yearbook in an antique store.
… you have to pop a viagra before using the restroom just so you don’t pee on your shoes…
I’m a ways off from having to do this but have often said “when I was your age” to our kids…
