you lookin' at me?

See, I knew that (because I’ve been stalking you for a long time) so I figured that revealing myself now would make you happy.
But in all seriousness, I see you around all the time and have agreed with you many times in posts and you seem like a really easy going kind of guy, so I was considering “friending” you that day (I don’t remember why I didn’t).

I like it, I just wish I could post on the Visitor Messages part. That is not working for me for some reason. I have some I would like to reply to and I get Error on Page.

Hah! I have visited most of you in this thread now!

(vetbridge - a visit from Tuba? Have you been a bad boy? )

(Now I’m scared to look at my own lonely little page. :frowning: )

Hey! I have a friend! Of course, it’s my husband, but I’ll still take it.

featherlou

Like Kyla, pbbth, and Delly I often click on the username when i mean to click on the title or the little blue box that means go to last post in the thread. (Another board on which I post takes you to the last post when you click on the username, so that is why that mistake happens.) So, there will be some random profile looking going on.

That said, I’m sure we’ll get used to this feature. I finally filled out my bio because of it, so I guess that is a good thing.

About the friends thing: someone has to make the first move and invite others to be their friend. When that person accepts, you have a friend. See, it’s just like junior high school. Don’t be afraid to ask somebody to be your friend!

I do that all the time, too.

Hey cool - new stuff in the “my profile” page. I hadn’t noticed that.

But no visitors :frowning:
[akon]so lonely, so lonely[/akon]

Not quite so far. I just did my bit to help you out, but Northern Piper has had only 55 views on his profile (still plenty) out of 922 thread views.

Ima in ur profile, readin’ it. It’s a slow sunday. :stuck_out_tongue:

But hooray for being able to post again.

Sometimes I’ll click on a member’s profile and, if they have any visitors, click on their profiles and then click on their vistors’ profiles and then go on and on and on from there* spreading my filth and disease.**

*no joke. I’m easily bored but also easily amused
**joke

Yeah, it kind of led to a funny situation for me. I signed up for the white elephant exchange, and after I received my recipient’s username I decided to look them up to see what they were into, on the off chance that I had something laying around that they might actually enjoy. When I saw that it saved my name, I was like, “Oh shit!” because it’s supposed to be anonymous. So I went around clicking on dozens of names that day, just to keep anyone from putting two and two together.

Long story short: I was the first person to look at the profiles of quite a few people, but only in one case was it personal!!

Why can’t I see other peoples profiles? I can only see my own.

Now it won’t let me see my own? WTH?

Nope, we was talking about you!!:stuck_out_tongue:

Actually, you all might wanna check out what we were discussing. I saw a really cool band, they have a guitar, tuba, trombone, and two tap dancers (miked like drums). Very cool band called Born Again Floozies.

I hope nobody comes to visit me.
Because I’m in my bathrobe.

It’s kind of like looking up something on Wikipedia. You start clicking on links, and then get so far into it, you forget what you originally went there for.

I didn’t do it! I swear!

Very interesting band. I didn’t know you could play a guitar that way.

One thing I noticed was in order to put someone on your ignore list, you have to click on their profile.

Something else to be paranoid about!

I went in there thinking that absolutely no one would have visiited my profile…but Sattua has made my day! I feel a bit giddy now.

OMG, I’m paranoid AND they are out to get me. Or ignore me, anyway

I like to look at people’s profiles for no real reason. Now that I’m leaving tracks, I feel like I need to run around and look at everyone’s profile so no one will attach undue importance to the fact that I’ve been in there!
