You may all envy me

I tried a bar with bacon pieces blended into it, and was sorely disappointed. It was edible enough, but not nearly as good as it oughta have been.

The collars sound cool though!

I had it once. It was awful. I’m not big on bacon but once in a while it’s okay. But with chocolate? EW.

I had a fried Snickers at the fair this year. It was awesome. Of course, I prefer my Snickers a little on the melty side.

There’s a trendy donut shop nearby that has hamburger donuts with bacon as the “burger”. I’m sorry to report that they aren’t very good at all.

Trust me - it is the chocolate dipped, DEEP FRIED bacon that is to-die-for! That beautiful, golden dough gracefully encasing the crisp, chocolately-salty goodness is lovely!

Seriously!

This is the company that sells them Critter Gear. They have a huge selection and 4 sizes of adjustable collars. Our local pet store only sells one line that only comes in toy dog, 50lb dog, and massive dog sizes. Our 35lb girls have a hard time fitting in any of them. We got the large size for the width and were lucky that it fits them at the smallest adjustment.

Or fried dill pickles (Yum! Just Yum!)

Nasty Burger This is the donut burger I was talking about. Blech. Krispy Kreme donuts, cheeseburger, bacon. Ick.

Fried pickles are really good. I didn’t get them today (although they did have them). I had them a few weeks ago at the Texas Roadhouse in Worcester. I was very impressed but I’d really like to try them with sweet pickles.

gag That is just wrong.

The bacon was deep-fried? That’s bullshit. Quickest way to make bacon not worth eating. I recommend pan-frying in it’s own fat, then dipping in your own pot of melted high-quality milk chocolate.

The bacon was deep fried in its own fat. Then dipped in chocolate. THEN dipped in batter and fried again…

:D:D:D

When my girlfriend came out, she was insistent that we find elephant ears. I’d never heard of them, and we didn’t find them after quite a while of wandering. She was rather upset. Then we stumbled upon a booth with fried Indian bread. Turns out to be the same thing! Peace and order were restored.

We don’t have chicken-on-a-stick out here, but we do have pork-chops-on-a-stick, as well as turkey legs.

I got to try cheesecake on a stick at this year’s county fair. A frozen wedge of cheesecake on a stick, dipped in chocolate and rolled in nuts. Mmm…

My fair goal is always to try something different that is deep-fried or on a stick or both.

I know at least the funnel cakes are uncommonly good at the fair.

Yum, I just had some Bacon Vodka last night for the first time. That was quite an experience. I wonder how bacon beer would taste, send me a recipe!

Thanks!
Bayes

They’re big with the lesbian crowd, are they?

Crispy Fried Bacon**
I asked the poor waitress if she was trying to seduce me using my three favorite words like that.

It’s lightly breaded, and deep fried heaven.
