You might have some free credit at Amazon if you bought any ebooks in the last year.

I just learned about this a few minutes ago, so I went to go check and, sure enough, I had about four bucks waiting for me. Basically, due to a lawsuit that Amazon lost, 400 million dollars in credits were just given back in small portions due to how much you may have spent on ebooks in the last year. A small percentage, anyway.

The article says that affected users were emailed, but I didn’t get any email, so you might not have either. This is one of the reasons I figured I’d make a topic.

So if you have bought ebooks on Amazon, find the place in the article where it shows how to check your Amazon account credit and let me know if you made any. Also, it expires in four days (another reason I wanted to make this topic)

I shall go and check. Thank you sir.

I have a $4.71 credit! Will put it towards a book.

Yep, I my $72.00 was spent the minute Amazon emailed me about it.

Can someone post the entire link as to how to check on Amazon? Those squashed links that some websites do don’t work for me in my office.

Don’t know if this will work… you may have to log in. I’m always logged in to Amazon, so my amount was showing already.

I had $108.17 in credit–already spent. I buy a LOT of ebooks.

Bugger. Oh well.

That worked for me – thanks! I had about $18, but it was already used up.
