The Glowing Baby of Death.
Edna, too.
The Glowing Baby of Death.
Edna, too.
I’ve got Edna as my desktop wallpaper right now. But Elastigirl kicked some major butt too.
I found the younger Elasti-girl (from the flashbacks) to be rather er… attractive.
Dash is really funny, I love his facial expressions.
Dash.
Finally, a movie even a parent could love.
Ooo, I wanna change my vote. I forgot how cute Jack-Jack was. I loved him. Edna is second now.
Hmmm…
So how you doin’?
Another vote for Elastigirl.
I imagine the Holly Hunter Fan Club quintupled in ranks after this movie came out.
EDNA!
With Jack-Jack and Elastigirl tied for a distant second.
Elastigirl and Dash, but I have deep affection for Mr. Incredible. I want to give him a hug.
My favorite is Edna. Also, it would not be too far fetched to think that Edna was based on a real person - Edith Head.
Edna was certainly the scene-stealer, but I gotta go with Frozone here. It was a really clever take on the whole superhero-normal guy thing.
And def. Mr Incredible all buffed up, very nice.
That moment, outside the cave, where Elastigirl tells Violet that being a hero is in her blood, & Vi stares up at the stars in wonder & awe—I love it!!
I hasten to point out to y’all that, back in the 1960s, there really was an Elasti-Girl in the comics.
I’m surprised; I would’ve thought Elasti-Girl would make a clean sweep of it. Not just a super-hero mom with the coolest scene in the movie (getting through the security doors), but the voice of Holly Hunter. What’s not to love?
Fun Fact: Holly Hunter went to my high school.
I’d suggest you invite Edna to your home this Christmas, but Amazon’s fresh out, dahling.
I saw the film on Wednesday and was blown away. I really don’t think any one character stands out: they all play off each other, and it is the different combinations of different characters at different times that make the movie.
Oh, yes, I can’t wait for the DVD.
Edna. For obvious reasons. In case no one’s said so yet, I’ve heard from a pretty reliable source that the director of the movie did her voice because he didn’t like the way anyone else did it.
My favorite inanimate object in the movie (since I’m sure you care) is the big huge table inside the bad guy’s island lair where Mr. Incredible dines with the woman who’s name I forgot who’s working for the bad guy.
A repeat…
How YOU doin’?
Violet was my favorite character. Lanky, gawky, modest, but strong and full of character. I really want to see her eight years or so in the future.
Elastigirl comes in second.
Her name was Mirage. I wanna know what happened to her.
Yeah, nice table, but one helluva of a view of the magma (kinda like the F. L. Wright house in PA). A/C compressor must be working overtime, though.
Side Note: Gotta find my Evil Overlord List, and see how many rules Syndrome broke in his quest to be come Evil Overlord (tossing away the loyalty of your top henchman is second, wearing a cape is number one.)
