How is it possible for a grown person to believe that Jesus is the son of god… and that sort og rubbish ?

It seams to me that these kind of people nead to grow up and stop clutching at straws.

I often see endless discussion where adults tries to argue for creationism and at the same time desperately tries to question evolution.
You cling to a few lose ends in the evolution theori, while the christian “theory” consists of nothing but loose ends.
Perhaps it is time for you the grow up!!

If one reads the Bible and reads Psalm 81 in Douay version, or the 82d in KJV the psalmist says," I said you are gods and sons of the most high". Jesus backs this up in John 10; he is quoted as saying",It says in your law, “I said you are gods”, so why do you accuse me of blasphemy when I call God my father , when your fathers did"? It sounds to me like the word god doesn’t mean creator of all things like it does now. but just a man of power.

You know Seahawk - the cool thing about religious faith is that anyone can say anything about what their beliefs are and what they think everyone else’s should be, but there is NOTHING you could ever say that would change the mind of anyone who truly knows the truth and knows what they believe is the truth for them.

So that being said - JESUS IS THE WAY - THE TRUTH AND THE LIGHT - AND ALL THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN HIM SHALL NOT PERISH BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE

I don’t believe it is right to criticize a person for their beliefs,but one cannot say in truth that they know the truth, just that they believe it is truth. What is truly known can be proven, and religious belief is just that, based on belief.They don’t need truth to believe. Belief can, and does help many people to get through rough times,and they have the right just as anyone to their beliefs as long as they don’t harm others or force their beliefs on others. Of course, one can not be forced to believe anything, they can say they do, but in their heart and mind they still have just their own beliefs. Some countries try to force people from practicing their beliefs, but it doesn’t stop their beliefs.

My problem with some religious people is the way they throw persecution around; and have screaming tantrums because other people are not the same religion , or have told them to get the fuck off their property or throw their pamphlets into the trash or recycling bins.
