I remember, years ago, one of the sketch comedies had a short vignette. A bunch of clean cut, apparently Ivy League goofs, sitting around in ski garb, or something yuppie-ish singing a song that said “You will always give me a boner! Bone-bone-bone-bone-bone-boner!” yadda-yadda.
At any rate, it was either “The State” or Kids in the Hall, or something like that, around that time. Can anybody tell me what it was?
Thanks,
hh
it was the state. I forget which season but it is sung by Thomas Lennon.
I know it was from 1994, but can’t remember which “season” that was. In any case, the whole thing, all 26 episodes, is available on DVD.
An old Andy Hardy (Mickey Rooney) movie was playing the other day.
Well, if we’re going to go THERE…Obligatory boner reference…
First season. Pretty sure it’s the last scene in the first episode. I tried to find an MP3 of this song a few months ago after getting the DVDs for my birthday, but failed
I believe you are correct, but I could check my State DVD set when I get home.
