You will never be as cool as the picture.

You have the confidence of knowing no matter what you do in life you will never be as cool as this picture

OK, I’ve seen the pic before, and obviously know who the characters are; but where did the pic come from?

And why?

Eli

Are you kidding? This one is much more badass.

I was at that show man, Chewbacca was totally off his ass on 'ludes and the sound totally sucked.

Oh. My. God.

I will never be that cool.

[Wayne & Garth]We’re not worthy! We’re not worthy![/Wayne & Garth]

Tripler

  • Still not worthy.

No-one–not even David Suzuki–is that cool.

Wasn’t that the time they played the old Grandstand? I tried to get tickets to that show and never got to Ticketmaster in time after work and they sold out before I got there. Ticketmaster sucked then and they suck now.

[sub]I had the poster and my stupid roommate in college stole it the day I moved.[/sub]

Frickin awesome.

I love Darth Vader flying on wires giving the devil sign.

Precious.

I beg to differ, this is obviously the coolest thing ever.

My favourite Star Wars artist, there - Hugh Fleming, who it turns out is a friend of my friends (I’ve only met him once, fleetingly). But it’s my least favourite of his images (the guy in the beard in the front row of the crowd’s a self portrait).

That picture?

Hell, I’ll never be as cool as this picture :frowning:

I don’t know… This picture is hard to beat.

Oh, feh. I’m hoping some day to be cooler than this.

The dude on the right, I mean. The chick on the left looks pretty hot.

My friend once made a page for the band “Dead Jedis”, that included numerous articles on the bands progression, and pictures. Darth Vader encouraging the crowd to “Mosh like RANCORS!” was a big hit.

Sadly, I’m pretty sure it’s gone to the digital ash-heap.

Not with that apostrophe there it isn’t.

Because nothing says “cool” like Star Wars fan-art.

If there was ever a thread that was just asking to be rick rolled…

When I was a kid, the coolest dude was undoubtedly the smug guy in the disco-era “Poverty Sucks” poster. Or so I recalled.

Then I Googled the image and was struck by how vacant (and un-smug) the guy’s actual expression is. And I also misremembered him as wearing a bowler hat. Oh well. The ice bucket perched on the Rolls’ front bumper is a nice touch, though.

What

is that?

Lee Harvey Oswald’s assassination … photoshopped.

I’ve seen it on a t-shirt captioned “The Lee Harvey Oswald Band–World Tour 1963” or something like that.
