You won't believe this...

According to this little whackjob site hysterectomies, among other things (including natural family planning), are actually a form of sodomy.

There’s obviously no hope for me, I’ve committed or aided and abetted just about every form of sodomy listed.

A friend’s wife’s sister wrote a book called No More Hysterectomies. (She did expensive “reconstructive surgery” instead.)

Too bad she worked at a hospital that makes a ton of money performing them. She was accused of performing “unnecessary operations” or billing for surgery not actually performed, or something like that, and lost a legal case. I don’t remember what happened to her after that.

I forgot to mention that this particular whackjob wants the WTC site turned into an abortion holocaust and survivors museum.

I love the fact that this person makes little effort to factually justify his listing of both hysterectomy and vasectomy as forms of sodomy—forgetting for the moment that neither is a sexual act.

Unbelievably pathetic! So the only way to be blessed by God is to have babies, until my uterus falls out? That explains all of those wonderfully prosperous third-world countries!

Considering that we have not found any other habitable planets, and that we also do not have a way to get to these planets yet, WTF? No wonder i gave up my old church!
I would like nothing more to be a butterfly on the wall when God judges these characters.

…apparently chicks shouldn’t teach either…

Well, now I’ve seen the light. I always thought that the Challenger disaster was the result of cold O-rings. Now I realize it was because NASA angered god by bringing a female teacher who “probably practiced birth control” into space.

Suffering Christ.

Oh. My. God.

Catholic Fundies.

Guys, I think we’ve found the Catholic Fred Phelps.

Uh-oh. Geobabe and I are going to hell:

**Other signs of the existence of great moral decay in the Church and in the world:**Female Sex Toys <snip>
Recently when speaking with a doctor friend of mine, I learned that these Tupperware-style parties are also common in the United States. Women are pushing to promote immoral products and it is not just the sales women who are doing the pushing. It is an enduring quality of Satan to get others to do his dirty work for him. Satan has gotten millions of mindless immoral women involved in evil, and the numbers are increasing. The parties are a success for feminism.

Men who ogle women are as mindless as they are. Though both men and women are gravely guilty of sin, men have the greater moral responsibility in bringing it to an end.

And it’s all you men’s fault!

Someone needs to point out to this guy how much he has in common with the Taliban

Well, I’m not surprised to see that according to his list, I’m an Unrepentant Sodomite. But I can’t wait to tell my husband that he is too!

[sub]I love playing little jokes on him like that…[/sub]

You should have expected it. These are the folks who brought you the Spanish Inquisition!
(patiently waiting for someone to pick up the straight line.)

Naaah… let’s just skip straight to the Comfy Chair.

Oops.

One of my friends went to this doctor several years ago (I remember, because my friend mentioned the book). My friend ended up getting a hysterectomy anyway. But she said this doctor was REALLY expensive, even for a first visit.

Interesting to hear how this particular doctor hasn’t fared well since then.

Well, seems like we have a couple of options here…

“Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!”

or maybe…

“The Inquisition, what a show!
The Inquisition, here we go.
We know you’re wishin’ that we’d go away,
But the Inquisition’s here and it’s here to stay!”

Hmmm… there’s another one out there. A little help?

But you left out the “best” parts!

It seems this guy stocked up on Condensed Ignorance. (All the stupidity, now in half the space!)

Brings to mind one of my favorite quotes, from IIRC Mark Twain (I’m going from memory here, so I may not have it exactly right): “When I think of all the disagreeable people who have gone on to a better place, I am sure Hell won’t be so bad after all.” I’m sure it was exactly this sort of folk he was thinking of when he said that.

Not surprising she was expensive, since she practiced at Cedar’s Sinai. (For out-of-towners: Cedar’s is “The Hospital of the Stars”.)

As far as V.H. not faring well, I don’t really know. About the time she was embroiled in the lawsuit, my friend’s wife (her sister) declared me persona non grata over something really stupid and not her affair… Well anyway, I was PNG’d and haven’t been in touch with them for some time; so no idea how V.H. is doing. By searching for the title of the book on google, it doesn’t look as if she was disgraced or anything. She’s probably doing quite well. But I’m not interested enough to read any of the hits to find out.
