So I’m in the middle of watching You’ll Never Get Rich, and notcied something odd. When Fred Astaire and Robert Benchly are walking around the army camp, we see a bunch of people that appear to be gardening or doing groundswork. I notcied that everyone was pretending though. One person was flattening the soil with the bottom of a shovel, but he was holding it about 2 inches over the earth. Another was till, or turning the soil with a spade, but the tip never touched the dirt and another was sweeping with a pushbroom, but holding it just above the ground. The only reason I can figure for them to do this is that the microphones would pick up the sound. But you’d think they’d figure something out, it looks kinda silly. Like a grade shcool play.
When the movie was made, no one cared. They were looking at the stars, not the background.
I suggest you do the same. You’ll be much happier.
