W00t! Congrats, olives! Mama Zappa and I have been doing the same sort of thing since our early married days, when I was in grad school. It’s really nice to stay home and have friends and family over. And enough leftovers to feed an army. 
I’m so glad to hear everything went well! And believe it or not, the hubby dropping the cherry pie face-down on the floor will make the day even more memorable!
