Childhood favorite:
Quisp (hated Quake, though)
Current favorites:
Count Chocula (not always available… Chocolate Lucky Charms are decent substitute)

Is it wrong that I read this sentence in the voice of Marvin, the Paranoid Android?
Cocoa Pebbles were my favorite growing up but I like Strawberry Frosted Mini-Wheats more now. I rarely eat cereal and when I do it’s just a snack, not breakfast. The squares are perfect for popping.
Currently: Wheat Chex and Grape Nuts (both unsweetened) and Sunbelt Banana Nut Granola.
As a kid and teenager: Peanut Butter Crunch, both Pebbles, generic frosted flakes, OJs.
I haven’t eaten breakfast cereal in decades, but the best ever was-
Quaker 100% Natural with Raisins and Dates.
Chock full of artery-clogging coconut oil!
Cheerios, now and forever. I always have Cheerios in my pantry. Usually plain Cheerios, but sometimes I get the banana nut flavor. I’ve never been a big fan of any of the other Cheerios flavors, though.
I also usually have Grape Nuts in my pantry. Every now and then it’s just exactly what I want.
For the first time I can remember, I currently also have Froot Loops in my pantry. The last time I was at the grocery store I went looking for those variety packs, and they didn’t have any (I hope they’re still being made/sold!!) but for some reason it seemed like a good idea to buy a whole box of Froot Loops. I’ll probably wind up eating handfuls of them as a snack more often than I’ll have a bowl of them with milk.
I don’t remember the taste of Quake specifically…wasn’t it close to Cap’n Crunch?
I do remember the Quisp vs. Quake battle/voting.
And I remember Orange Quake being vile.
S’Morz
Apple Jacks
Cinnamon Life
Crunch Berry Captain Crunch.
I used to love Frosted Flakes but at some point it became too sweet for me.
Probably. I think Quisp and Quake were basically the same cereal but different shapes.
I was 3 or 4, and I liked Quake more than Quisp, but I don’t really remember the taste.
Later I loved KaBoom! and King Vita-man. I was a children’s cereal marketer’s wet dream.
Wow. You guys certainly seem to have a sweet tooth.
I eat Bite Sized Shredded Wheat with semi-skimmed milk and love it.
No sugar, no salt, 100% all-grain wheat. If I’m feeling in need of a sugar rush on a Sunday morning with a hangover I cut a banana into it.
Anything frosted, chocolatey or sugary is vile.

also Coco Pebbles just so i get chocolate milk!
Well, that’s exactly what I actually eat. It just doesn’t taste as good as some sugar, when I eat it that is. The sugar crash doesn’t feel that good.
Golden Grahams (can’t hardly get a bowl of it the second it comes in the house.)
Peanut Butter Cap’n Crunch
Oops! All Berries (I mean, yeah, Crunch Berries are good, but you know what we all really love…)
Cocoa Puffs (sorry, Cecil, but you can bite me for that “man’s inhumanity to man” remark)
Honey Nut Cheerios
Apple Cinnamon Cheerios
Honey Comb
Lucky Charms
Trix
Gawd, looking over that list… no wonder my wife thinks I’ve never really grown up. :dubious:
Raisin Bran
Rice Chex
Frosted Mini Wheats
Cheerios
Corn Chex
What was that cereal that was made of honey-sweetened bran pressed into large dense oval rings? The name is on the tip of my tongue (it began with a C?). I loved that stuff when I was a kid. Edit: Cracklin’ Oat Bran!
I rarely eat cereal now, but when I do, it’s got to be Basic 4. It takes willpower to stop after one bowl.
Fruity Pebbles

Honey Bunches of Oats
I rarely eat cold cereal any more, but when I do, it’s liable to be Cheerios in strawberry yogurt.
But all time favorites include Lucky Charms, Boo Berry, Honeycomb, Cap’n Crunch, and Frosted Flakes.
As a kid:
Crispy Critters
Alpha-Bits
I think they were basically the same stuff, but I liked the animals better.
As an adult:
Crispy Wheats and Raisins (discontinued, I think)
Oatmeal Squares (esp. maple flavor which seems to have been discontinued)
Apple Cinnamon Cheerios (lost shelf space to honey nut, apparently)
What I usually eat:
Raisin Bran
As a young adult, I actually quite liked Cracklin’ Oat Bran. Then they changed the way they made it and it sucked rocks.
I don’t get to have “good” cereal anymore. Since “the incident” in January (well, actually since I got back home from it in June) We Don’t Eat That Anymore…
I can’t find it anymore, but Frankenberry was so fucking full of win!
Mmmmmmmmmmm
