Your American military response prediction- assuming Bin Laden/Saddam did it

I’m looking for what you honestly think America’s response to the WTC-Pgon attack will be, including END GAME. For the purposes of simplicity, let’s say the US does find the evidence that Bin Laden was behind the attacks with the help of Saddam Hussein.

Mine is I think Dubya is going to draw a “line in the sand” and give the Taliban a deadline for turning over Osama Bin Laden dead or alive, or allowing an American force to safely enter the country and secure him, or we will attack them and Iraq, suspected in helping organize the venture.

If the Taliban does not acquiese we begin air strikes that go on for about 3 months before he is either captured or killed.

We also launch massive airstrikes against Iraq, but once again, fail to get to THE PROBLEM: SADDAM HUSSEIN.

That’s about it for me. I honestly think those of us that think we are going to conquer the Middle East are in for a letdown.

By now, Bin Laden has probably just slipped across the border into Pakistan. Trying to track him down may be a fool’s errand.

I think if Saddam is behind it in any proven way, there is no way he gets away this time. The first time, we were fighting someone elses war. This time he came to the US. There will be no mercy on him if he did it.

Bin Laden will probably get caught, but not after some bombing. Eventually, his protectors will turn on him, but there will still be someone to take his place.
