Breaking Bad - not just the current best, but the best ever.

Dexter would’ve made #2 on the list 5 years ago, but it’s pretty much run its course and barely seems like the same show anymore, at least the quality of the writing. Homeland is new and promising but I wonder how far they can go with the premise - shows based on mysteries but that want to extend on forever can always fall victim to the Lost type mess. To be fair, the show has already revealed more than lost ever did in its 5 seasons. I want the Walking Dead to be good enough to make this list, but… no.
Well since Archer’s season just ended, I’ll omit it for now. These shows are can’t miss for me, in order:
Raising Hope
Young Justice
Bob’s Burgers
Ugly Americans
Grey’s Anatomy (I wish I knew how to quit it)
Since Hope’s season is about to end, honorable mention goes to Thundercats because it’ll probably be cancelled soon. I have a preference for animation. Adventure Time gets a nod, too. As much as I love seeing Archer flip burgers, I also love Bender as a dog.
Justified: Really, the dialog is the best since Deadwood. I know that it’s based on one of his short stories, but it’s almost as if it was written by Elmore Leonard himself.
Before last week, I would have listed Awake, but last week’s episode was appallingly bad and it looks like they’re going to concentrate on the bad things on the show instead of the good things.
