The Diary of V on this site is great.
Step inside the all-new REDBOOK! It's got even more of what you want: fashion deals, beauty tricks, weight-loss secrets, and ways to be happier — for less!
I have wasted a LOT of time on this one.
The Straight Dope (what a shocker)
The Boondocks (home of the world’s coolest comic strip)
The Hunger Site
The official (Japanese) Dragonball Z website , my current embarrassing obsession
A variety of newspaper columnists and newspapapers, including:
The New York Times
The AP Wire
Molly Ivins
The MoJo Wire
and I love Google
(Yes! I got the vB code right!)
My only dailies are here, of course, and AltaVista . Weekly, there’s also the comic strips The Dilbert Zone and Fox Trot
Another one that I find essential is Harvard University’s Astrophysical Data Service . I don’t use it often, but when I do, I don’t know what I’d do without it.
Hey, why is everybody looking at me like that… Surely, some of the rest of you occasionally use the Internet at work for, well, working, right?
Congradulations, zuma!
You’ve created a thread that to date has more links than any other in recent history.
I do quite a bit of research for culinary school here on the web, so I couldn’t live without:
Explore the fact-checked online encyclopedia from Encyclopaedia Britannica with hundreds of thousands of objective articles, biographies, videos, and images from experts.

http://www.kroq.com (website of my favorite radio station–they keep the “best of” the morning show, that I usually miss–it’s worth pulling up some of their stuff)

Haha… that wasn’t my intention, and as I said, others have posted this same subject before… but i’ve always found it a wonderful way to discover new links worthy of regular visits.

“If I were you, I’d run!”
“If you were me, you’d be good-looking!”
That was such a crappy movie…
Yeah, I’m afraid everybody else has gotten there first, picking out my daily sites like Dilbert, eBay, Snopes, The Onion (actually, that’s a weekly fave - only on Wednesdays!), and of course, the fountain of all that is true and good, the Straight Dope.
… but I also read Robotman and General Protection Fault (no GPF on Sundays, though) every day, and check Bartertown just in case there’s something I absolutely can’t live without.
Believe it or not, aol.com isn’t a bad place to go for news or stock quotes, plus, I can check my mail there when I’m away from home.

The sites I go to most are: Trekbbs.com , solareclipse.net , and one or two others, whose addresses i’m too lazy to look up at the moment.
