So, what’s your favorite? I usually like best whatever I’m listening to, but my all time favorite is Abbey Road. I think this has more (and better) Beatle type rock than any of their other albums. My second favorite is The White Album. I even like Revolution #9; I used to listen with headphones and see what I could hear in it.
White Album, with Abbey Road a close second.
Rubber Soul without a doubt. Second place, hmmm, pretty close tie between Revolver and Abbey Road. Rubber Soul is my favorite album of all time, by anyone.
My ranking?
- Revolver
- A Hard Day’s Night
- Abbey Road
- Help
- Beatles for Sale (except for the godawful “Mr. Moonlight”)
- Rubber Soul
- Please Please Me
- White Album
- Sgt. Pepper
- Magical Mystery Tour
- Let It Be
Abbey Road, then Revolver, Sgt. Pepper, the White Album, and Rubber Soul.
My favorite album as an album–that is, not necessarily the one with all my very favorite songs on it–would be Sgt Pepper, with Abbey Road a close second. The one with my mostest favoritest songs, though, would be Magical Mystery Tour.
Revolver
I can’t choose between Revolver and The White Album. They’re my co-favorites.
Abbey Road
1
Anthology 2
Revolver
Love 'em all, but I’m a Rubber Soul girl when it comes down to it.
Abbey Road,
followed by Rubber Soul and Revolver.
Abbey Road and Magical Mystery Tour. It’s tough to cut it down to only two though.
Love them all but Rubber Soul is the one I listen to most.
Used to be the White Album.
But after hearing B]Abbey Road** a few more times, I’ve changed my mind. Just brilliant.[
My top 6.
Sgt. Pepper
Revolver
Abbey Road
Rubber Soul
Yesterday and Today
Hard Days Night
1 Abbey Road
2 Everything they did after Help! (with the exception of Yellow Submarine)
That is, including Help!
My favorites are:
Sgt. Pepper
With the Beatles
Revolver
By the way, that’s in no particular order.
Abby Road, though I must admit I’ve never heard all of the White Album and Rubber Soul.
Revolver. Absolutely the peak of their sound, before the drugs started doing serious damage.
Rubber Soul and Abbey Road are tied for second.
I have a soft spot for Help!, but that’s because it was my one true companion on a long a hellish road trip my parents dragged me and the sibs along on in junior high, not because of the music per se.
Oh, then listen to it again. That album is currently in heavy rotation in my car (my son loves it), and it has killer songs: Help!, The Night Before, You’ve Got to Hide Your Love Away, Ticket to Ride, Another Girl, You’re Going to Lose That Girl, I’ve Just Seen a Face, Tell Me What You See, Yesterday, It’s Only Love…it’s all good…
In answer to the OP, I just can’t pick one…whichever CD is playing at the moment…
