Your Favorite Cooking Website?

I love to cook and fairly proficient- or the best in the world if you listen to my kids. I always say I’m into cooking enough to make my own sauce but not into it enough to make my own pasta. Anyways, I wanted to share my favorite cooking website with my fellow cookers, and get some recommendations back. This cooking blog has tons of excellent recipes and the author is pretty funny and fun to read.

I am, right this very moment, making the cinnamon rolls on that page, and oh my, they’re going to be good!

That is a great site. I pretty much want to make every recipe I see on there.

I’ll bump this in hopes others will have sites to share.

I like this one . They haven’t updated is since Summer of 2006, though. I’ve heard that the writers/producers went to work for Alton Brown. Not that I can blame them for that. (Assuming it’s true.)

Oh, hey, I forgot I started this thread! Thanks for the bump.

And my cinnamon rolls came out very tasty, I might add. 7 pans of those babies!

Well, besides Cook’s Illustrated, my favorite sites are:

allrecipes

cooks.com

epicurious

recipezaar

Cooks.com is probably my least favorite. Epicurious is good for gourmet-type recipes. And the other two are just awesome, what with the recipe reviews and all. Between those four sites, I pretty much feel like I can make anything.

Seven pans! You have to have a lot of friends to survive that many cinnamon rolls. Or, I guess, you could make friends with them.

My personal favorite is http://www.domesticgoddess.ca . Especially her desserts.

Public Radio has one of my favourite Rendang recipes (it’s an obsession) which is how I discovered it. Patti LaBelle’s Potato Salad is great and there is a recipe for Spiced Soup of Spinach and Cheese which is made with canned chicken soup. The version with eggs is fantastic, it is one of my favourite no effort but much appreciation from guests recipes.

This summer, my husband and I have been making a new recipe every week. Dr. Who, Allrecipes is a favorite site of ours as well! We’ve also gotten some stuff from meals.com.

Last night, I made this Pasta Primavera. It was a big hit.

Not quite a recipe website, but eGullet is my fav food site.

Mine is Marthastewart.com - and I regularly visit Chowhound.
