Mello Yello!
I know it’s made by a mainstream company, but it’s impossible to find in Arizona. We have to get family in Minnesota to ship it to us. So frustrating!
Irn Bru, a neon orange creamy soda-type drink from Scotland. I drink the diet version, but the full blooded stuff partly explains the dire condition of Scots teeth I think! You can get it in some supermarkets here in Australia.
West’s Cordials were a local brand where I grew up. Amongst the standard, they made two unique and delicious flavours - chocolade, and pineapple & pear.
South Indian Ginger Pop (can’t find a picture). It looks innocent enough, but it’s practically fire in a bottle! - Much, much stronger (and better) than any ginger beer I’ve ever had.
ralph124c – thanks for reminding me; I also immensely enjoy Wink, which is another grapefruit soda. It’s hard to find – I actually ordered it online…my wife says she used to drink it all the time at her grandmother’s house in New Jersey, but it just disappeared. One day when we were in Jewel, probably about 12 years ago, she saw 50/50 and was convinced it was Wink under a different name.
Squirt is a pretty common soda here in the southwest. Arizona, in particular. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone actually drinking it (I love it), but you can find it at almost any convenience store here.
I can’t believe no one likes this one: Delaware Punch.
Supposedly removed from America because the dyes caused health problems, I have not seen it for at least 20 years…but the taste still sits in my noggin.
