I’m a survivor of the Great Folk Music Scare of the '60s and have been listening to folk music today. As I was generally in a funk over some girl or another when I got older, I have quite a few songs to go to, including:

I might’ve lost a job because of The Smiths/Morrissey because I said rather loudly, “For God’s sake, not another,” after SiriusXM started the fourth Smiths/Morrissey song that hour, so they make me sad for a different reason.
Please don’t mock me! I love Coltrane, Bach, Zappa, and Shankar as much as anyone. But trust me – this is a sophisticated piece of work, harmonically, melodically, lyrically, arrangement-wise, and performance-wise. And Mr. Martin is a co-composer, not just a crooner.
