Your last time in a casino....were you a net winner or a net loser??

My first and only visit to a casino: I had a coupon for $1 worth of nickels. I turned in the coupon, pocketed my roll of nickels, watched my sister play the slots, and left.

Up $1!

Resorts. It’s next door to the Taj. I tried out for Jeopardy! there (also 3 times) in the early/mid 90s as well.

Last time I was at Foxwoods, I ended up +$25 from blackjack and +$73 from poker. It was a good day.

Those are the only two casino games I really play, so I actually end up winning at least as often as I lose, odds being what they are.

A couple of the casinos at Lake Tahoe, mid-October.

I ended up at $0, as my winnings on sports betting (Cardinals to win the World Series) were negated by my performance at the video slot machines.

The MIT Students Book was called “Bringing Down the House”. Yours could be, “Pocketing the Change.” It would probably be shorter but rely on greater character development and more emphasis on virtue.

Net winner. Played blackjack at the Sahara, won enough to pay for a real nice dinner and a show for the two of us.

The only time I was in a casino that I recall right now was once in Tahoe. I played video poker and was allowed to drink for free until my tokens ran out.

In the end I was up several beers and 10 dollars, which I left for the bar tender.

I’d say I came out ahead.

Three months ago I lost $50 in a poker tournament, quickly, and while I was waiting for my friend/ride, I played quarter slots and ten pulls into it I won $90. I collected, sat at the bar for an hour and had four beers. So I ended up roughly $32 ahead.

Went to Vegas in June, and only blew through half of what I had set aside to spend on gambling–I had two good nights at the roulette table and lived off that for the rest of my trip.
