I had no idea there was such a thriving market for clown costumes for small children.
I kind of like the first one. The dress/top thing isn’t long for a dress, or even knee-length. If you look at the shot from the back, it appears to come slightly below the kid’s butt. I wore longer t-shirts back in middle school when the style was to have your shirt tied or buckled just above the hip. (Had to have some extra length to pull that off, ya know.) A tunic top and capris doesn’t seem out of season for spring/early summer or in the evening when it starts getting cool. The top should probably be slightly shorter, though.
The second and third one are just gross.
The fourth one is too ruffly by far, but I really like that fabric. I couldn’t wear those colors at all, but it’s just so bright and summery and fun-looking.
Why was I not informed that pantaloons are back in fashion?
Must be 'cause I have a boy. I especially like the ensemble with chenille accents.
I now forgive my mom for making me wear homemade patchwork pants when I was a kid in the late '70s.
Ye gads those were ugly. Even the ones that could have been cute if parts were taken off (the first one esp.) were shudder worthy.
That last one almost qualifies as child abuse.
I was born in 1985. My parents did not have a lot of money. My clothes were less then wonderful. There are photos of me with odd shoes on, because I had kicked one of each out of my pram. But I can be thankful my mother didn’t buy any of those outfits.
