Opening the botttle if vanilla extract

Fav fishing lure

Tetra Min fish food. I put it in the water away from places where I see people fishing with hooks.

YMF food that does not involve meat in any way.

Vegetable egg rolls made by my daughter’s future MIL. She even grows all the vegetables and (frequently) makes her own dough.

YMF comfy spot in your house

My computer chair, a plastic stackable from Walmart.

Fav person you personally know who had something published

Ayn Rand. I knew her (and she had LOTS of things published)

YMF kitchen gadget?

Stand mixer. Use it for all sorts of things.

YMF thing you bought on a whim.

A little battery operated milk frother.

YMF super inexpensive but useful purchase?

Paper clips. Don’t know why, but we keep running out.

Panache, any favorite Ayn Rand stories? Start a new thread, if you like.

YMF kind of pen?

Candy thermometer. Cost less than three dollars. Use it every time I use the mini deep fryer, because it doesn’t have a gauge, and use it every time I cook with yeast, because it lets me get whatever I’m starting the yeast with to the exact right temperature. I have used it maybe twice for actual candy- making, but I have used it for all sorts of other things. I use it a minimum of twice a week.

YMF thing you probably paid too much for, but you don’t really care.

$90 for a visa to Qatar, to go outside the air terminal and watch the sun rise over the mosque across the road.

Fav thing you paid to see

Portland, Maine, from the water, on a Duck tour.
