Package promo deal with charter: basic cable, broadband, and landline=$79.99.
My wife has a cell phone for emergencies on her dad’s family plan; as long as we keep monthly calls on it to a minimum (which we do), there’s no additional charge for it.
That’s it.
But at the end of the month, I’ll need to modify our deal with Charter. We’ll get rid of cable, since we never watch it anyway.
Sprint: $82 + ~$100/year for a phone (past 3 phones have been smartphones that all cost about $200, every two years.)
Cable: $20 (Hard to give an exact amount because I just pay my landlord for all rent+utilities together, but just knowing how many of us live here and the local going rate for basic cable+internet, that’s a good estimate)
Netflix: $14…I think?
So less than $125 a month, not too bad, all things considered.
Verizon Phone and Internet: $72 a month
Time Warner Cable – Currently $68 a month.
We are switching to basic cable next month, so that’s only $15. Brings us down to $87 a month, or $1044 a year. I’m also looking into cutting our phone bill with a different plan.
$79 for combined internet and landline (120gb data and calls to other landlines in Australia are included).
$29 a month pays for our two android phones with free calls to eachother and $200 worth of data/voice/messaging included (which translates to about 180 minutes talk time).
I can’t keep up with what is on free to air tv so have never desired cable though when I lived in the US it seemed a necessity, we have vastly different offerings.
$120 - 2 cell phones
$53 - cable TV (dumped DirecTV last fall)
$27 - internet (DSL)
I think we’re paying too much for the cell phones, but it’s probably our fault. We’re on the unlimited everything plan, with mobile. We never use the mobile but it was required with the new phones we chose. We rarely go over 300 minutes a month on phones/texts. We could be saving, but my husband doesn’t want any limits. So there ya go.
