You're gonna hate me, but...

Thanks to mouse over text - I didn’t click the link.

Huh. Weird the things you miss out on.

Apparently I’ve been winning the game for the last 36 years.

And will probably, after 1 or 2 days, go back to winning for the rest of my life I suspect.

I lost a game I didn’t even know I was playing the moment I found out I was playing it. Meh. Life goes on. I’m off to go play a game that I’m aware I’m playing and even having fun in the process. I’ll eventually win it too.

Wow, it’s like a session with my more annoying roleplaying buddies all over again, only without the mutant killing and snacks.

Are we going to start talking about how the cake is of dubious authenticity next?

Everybody plays. You can’t not play The Game. Even if you don’t know you’re playing The Game, you are playing The Game.

Are you still playing the game if you’ve lost?

I’d love to come in here all moderator-y and everything, and tell everyone to stay on topic–but I don’t know what the topic is.

However, I do think this forum would do better in The Game Room.

No. No it is not.

At a con two or three years ago, I was informed I’d lost the game by a message written in marker on a young woman’s bare stomach. If you’re going to lose, there are worse ways.

According to the rules (as listed by Wikipedia):

If I never announce a loss, I am not playing, or at least I am not playing by the rules which ammounts to the same thing.

I’m not.
