Youtube cutting out early

Ever since the Youtube layout redesign a week or two ago, I’ve been having issues with youtube videos cutting out 10-20 seconds early – it simply won’t buffer past that point and will think it’s the end. If you skip to after the cutoff mark, it will play the rest like normal, but it’s still a huge pain.

I tried deleting temp files, cookies, browser history, etc, but so far nothing has helped.

Windows 7 on fully updated Chrome, haven’t noticed anything weird happening elsewhere.

Any ideas?

With me, YouTube stopped adter 10 seconds. It had something to do with an kids safety setting. More people have trouble with it. My husband is still trying to solve it for me. A temporary fix is to log in under admin settings.

It seems to have righted itself on its own.
