YouTube previews no longer have video length

I’d swear that they did this morning when I was watching stuff but they don’t now.

There’s no way to know if you’re clicking on a :30 second or a 30 minute video now until the page begins to load and it displays in the video window.

I don’t think this is a positive development.

The new changes are a shame; I really used to enjoy using YouTube.

I just went to youtube.com and got a page full of videos, and all of them had the running times in the lower right corner.

I’m seeing those, but not the number of dislikes. That was a terrible change, IMO.

I knew this was in the works, but they just made it live a day or two ago. Where before Youtub would display a counter of both likes and dislikes, now they are only showing the likes count. It’s a free product so they can do what they want, but I’m just noticing how annoying the change is. I used to filter stuff like recipe videos by comparing the ratio of dislikes to likes to get a quick sense of whether the recipe is judged as trustworthy or good by viewers, but now I don’t have that.
