After about a year, I finally got tired of pounding my steering wheel. I’ve got one of the worst commutes on the East Coast. I know everyone says that (like their baby is the cutest in the world), but really, my commute sucks, and this helped. BTW - my baby is the cutest in the world. Really. She’s a peach.
Zen (Commute)
I am approaching perfection. (delusion)
Detachment. Patience. Passivity. (delusion)
The traffic does not anger me. (it does)
I have evolved. Fools. (I am a fool)
I have my coffee. (stimulant)
I have my cigarette. (stimulant)
I have my radio tuned to morning traffic. (lies)
I have prepared myself for another day. (suicide)
I laugh. (I curse)
They curse. (I curse)
I remain calm and centered. (I pound my steering wheel)
They are frustrated. Fools. (I am a fool)
They drive their cars, at high speed, into each other. (Ole!)
I cheer them on. (Bravo!)
