I’ve had this happen a lot all it takes is a warm compress and if it gets to bad and you want to try this (which I don’t usually recommend) use a small pair of tweezers to pop them it hurts a bit and sound gross but works
If she’s had a stye for 10 years, I think it’s there to stay.
I had a chronic infection for a about a year where my eyelashes would gunk up and then the eyelid would swell up like a stye.
One thing the doctor had me do was clean the eyelash area at least 2x per day using no tears baby shampoo and a q tip. It took a long time but eventually the chronic infections stopped.
