Searched and only found one reference by Kal in a thread about free online books. T’was Kal who pointed me at this on another board.

Autumn by David Moody is available free online. I printed the PDF out and read it. Then bought all the series. It’s absolutely fantastic.

It’s not a nice world to enter but it very very realistic. It’s set in the UK but really could be anywhere. The books concentrate on the survivors and their struggle to stay alive. It truly is a brilliant read. I found myself totally absorbed and read the first book in two sittings. Go read more on the site and the amazon reviews of the sequels if you don’t believe me.

You will not regret the effort.

OK, I’ve changed the title as requested, but I think “I’ve got a real threat for you” was a really nice typo for a thread about zombies…
