Regarding the shipping charge - I ordered a 3 pack last week when this thread was first posted and didn’t get charged a shipping fee. My payment was refunded about 20 minutes later, with a note asking me to re-order due to a problem with Pay Pal not adding the $5 for shipping. So, I re-ordered and the shipping charge was there the second time. Not sure if this relates to what you all are seeing…

And I received notification this morning that my lovely Bacon Salt has shipped! Yippeeeee!

Well, so is chicken, and steak, and shrimp, and salmon, and trout, and ground beef, and salami, and mussels, and clams, and oysters, and ham, and cheese, and onions, and peppers, and well the list is obviously endless. Therefore I see no reason in wanting everything to taste like bacon. YMMV.

But… Bacon chicken, bacon steak, bacon shrimp, bacon salmon, bacon trout, bacon ground beef, bacon salami (?maybe not), bacon shellfish, bacon ham, bacon cheese, bacon onions, bacon peppers.

Now do you see?

Possibly. My preference though would be: Tabasco chicken, Tabasco steak, Tabasco shrimp, Tabasco salmon, Tabasco trout, Tabasco ground beef, Tabasco salami, Tabasco shellfish, Tabasco ham, Tabasco cheese, Tabasco onions, Tabasco peppers.

Now, add bacon to that, and see how much better they all taste!

Have you ever hear heard of chicken wrapped fillet mignon? or a shrimp wrapped fillet? Or trout wrapped anything?
You will notice that burger stands sell bacon cheeseburgers, not clam cheeseburgers.

Everything is better with bacon on it. Accept it. Embrace it.

I imagine something like Bacon Tabasco chicken, Bacon Tabasco steak, Bacon Tabasco shrimp, Bacon Tabasco salmon, Bacon Tabasco trout, Bacon Tabasco ground beef, Bacon Tabasco salami (although of questionable deliciousness), Bacon Tabasco shellfish, Bacon Tabasco ham, Bacon Tabasco cheese, Bacon Tabasco onions, Bacon Tabasco peppers (although is that a Bacon [specifically] Tabasco pepper, or a Bacon Pepper with Tabasco?).

I haven’t put salt on anything in something like 25 years. . . . . yet there’s this strange tugging sensation from the pit of my taste buds.

I have been fighting, with less and less success, the urge to order the three-pack. I need to know…how “spicy-hot” is the pepper bacon salt? I have found in recent years that my tolerance for spicy foods has decreased, and I’d hate to have something in my spice collection (even if it is bacon-flavored) that I cannot use.

And I’m trying not to think about the fact that I hardly ever salt food any more since I have convinced myself that I won’t be salting it, but adding the deliciousity of bacon to it.

Went to City Fish yesterday - and the “Original” flavor was gone (or at least there were none on display). I got the last of the “Pepper” and there were still a bunch of Hickories left. I also had to reach over crabs to get to it (which is, for me, a high price to pay).

So far - the smell is right. Opening up the Pepper Bacon bottle smells like bacon. I meant to have it with toaster waffles this morning, but I was running late. Perhaps for dinner.

LurkMeister, I didn’t think it was that spicy, but I have a very high tolerance for spices I like and next to none for spices I don’t. And I like bacon.
