Zombieland DVD/Blu-Ray, anyone eagerly awating it?

Personally, I’m really looking forward to this one, haven’t really anticipated a DVD release this much since the HHGTTG movie DVD (even though the HHG movie pales next to the books, the TV series, the radio series, the text-adventure game, and yes, even the towel…)

I’m gonna’ get it first thing after work, fire up the home theatre, and get ready to “nut up or shut up”

Rule 125; Buy Zombieland on DVD, watch as often as possible
Rule 126; making rules is fun :wink:

I really wanted to see it in the theater, so I’m waiting for it most definitely.

In the vein of ZL, what weapons would you use to survive Zombieland?
remember, only a headshot/destruction of the brain will put a zombie down for good

since you’re bugging out, and space in your bugout bag is limited, in this thread, you’re restricted to;
one handgun
one rifle
one shotgun
one hand-to-hand weapon (blunt/impact)
one knife

Out of my actual weaponry collection;

Modern arsenal;
Kimber Custom II 1911 with 8-shot mags and one round “in the pipe” for a capacity of 9 rounds of .45ACP per loadout
Marlin Model 60 .22 semiauto with a series of homemade 15-round “speedloader” tubes made from aluminum arrows
(if the .22 proved unreliable/incapable of anchoring a Z with a headshot, substitute a Ruger Mini-14 in .223 for it)
Mossberg 500 12-gauge pump
full-size crowbar
Ka-Bar USMC utility knife

Classic arsenal;
Ruger Blackhawk 7.5" barrel single-action .45 Convertible with .45 Colt cylinder fitted, .45ACP cylinder carried for backup in case I encounter .45ACP cartridges in my travels
Marlin .45 Colt lever-action rifle so I can share .45LC ammo between the rifle and revolver
Parker VH 12-gauge side-by-side shotgun
Crowbar
Ka-Bar

Ideal arsenal (firearms I don’t own but would like to)
High-cap .45ACP pistol (Glock, xD, M&P)
“EBR” in 5.56 NATO (Evil Black Rifle, a.k.a AR-15) and 30 round hicaps
Saiga-12 semiauto 12-gauge
Shaolin Spade
Kukhuri knife

I hung my projector and upgraded to 7.1 surround over the weekend. Bring on the Blu-ray!

Well, unlike certain people in the movie, I wouldn’t throw away every weapon after one use…

HK 45. compact
P90 bullpup
SPAS 12 if you run out of shells you could use it a a crowbar its so heavy
crowbar
SOG survival knife

Well, by the rules of Zombieland, I’d already be dead. Lousy cardio…

I finally watched the Bluray over the weekend, after being told countless times by everyone I know who saw it that this movie would fit my tastes perfectly. Boy were they right - in the scene where Columbus is reaching for things in the bathroom to smash the zombiegirl with, and grabs a roll of toilet paper followed by a bag of cotton balls, I actually injured my jaw from laughing so hard. Makes me wish I saw it in time for it to top my “best of 2009” list.

Walmart dropped the ball by not having it today. They only had about 5 Blu-rays at all for some reason.

Some deleted scenes…

Supposedly there are new rules, but I haven’t figured out what they are yet…
