Yes and yes.

You may want to peruse the forum descriptions

I'll be nice and move this thread over there. (How the hell else will I ever catch up to David and Manny?)

I'm so sorry he closed your General Question entitled anyone like to abuse prescription medicine(painkillers)?

I'm sure had he allowed that General Question to continue, you would have had your answer.

But since he so arrogantly closed it, allow me to answer you here, if I may be so bold as to speak for the general SDMB community:

No.

In answer to the OP,

"No."

See, normally he drives to posters houses and cuts off a pinky (using hedge trimmers...dull, rusty hedge-trimmers at that!) for the first infraction and things get progressively worse from there as he cuts off more and more fingers for each subsequent infraction. You don't even want to know what happens when he runs out of digits!

I'd say you got off easy.

Sorry about all the typos. I'm all thumbs.

Not really. He's just got a thing about people who post while stoned and don't use capital letters. Arnold is the one you really need to watch out for. He's a killer.

Just my 2 cents -

You got off easy. In my opinion there are some posters... ahem.... I mean ex-posters at the SDMB that have done less to have a six letter word under their user name than "member".

Fuck! What is this? Moron month or is spring fever hitting you people over the head with flowers and warm breezes.

The usual punishment for stupidity is many, many pages of ridicule and abuse, so get prepared.

Seriously, I'm a little surprised you didn't get your posting privileges revoked; you started several threads that violated the forum and board rules (you should have known this, but maybe your laziness extends to not observing rules, reading forum descriptions etc), then, when this was pointed out to you, you answered back like a spoilt brat.

Ask yourself why it is you like coming here... if like me it is (largely)the quality of the conversation, realise that control is the cost of that quality.

I see... so you claim you're bright enough to use correct capitalization, but you choose not to because it takes too much effort to hit the SHIFT key? And you thought this would endear you to us how?

Ever heard the Mark Twain quote about "It is better to remain quiet and be thought an idiot than to open your mouth and remove all doubt!"?

Anyway, I like your "Appear an idiot to save a second or so", so from now on, I'm going to drop all vwls. Ths s th trnd f th ftr!

Damned if that isn't particlewill's brightest post yet!

"i don't use capital letters because i'm lazy."

Man, someone should save this wisdom and embarass Bindrah (whose capitalized name is too precious) with it when he/she/it grows up.

New thread, what else is Bindrah too lazy to do? I heard he/she/it wipes only after every second bowel movement.

You'll have to excuse me. I've been abusing my prescription pain relievers.

There are fringe benefits, though. With the Extendable Catheter OptionTM on my Tug-AhoyTM, I no longer have to get up from my desk to use the bathroom.

I oughta pit you for making me choke on my coffee, Lynn, but I'll let it slide [i]this[/b] time. That was funny enough to be worth the pain of inhaling a sip of very hot beverage. Heh.

Well, since I got reprimanded for doing the ASSHAT stunt, I probably won't change your status. But you can send me chocolate ANYWAY, if you want.

Myself, I think that "member" is both subtle and explicit enough a descriptor
